Bad news for us and down to 16th? - no you're having a laugh, I thought - our U23s are great. Then I realised that loads of them aren't British either.

I know Duffy plays for the republic but he was born in NI so surely he could still play for us.

Should HGPs count as British? With the likes of Gyokeres, Connolly, Molumbey, Mateju et al our chances would be much better!
