First half goals from Brett and Williams gave Brighton a 2 goal cushion at the break but it was a nervy second half last Sunday when Yeovil pulled one back midway through the second half (Mason). Brighton however managed to hold out against fellow league strugglers Yeovil for their first win in WSL. The win opens up a four point gap over Yeovil at the bottom of the table, and has for the moment lifted us two places off the bottom spot but we have played more matches than the teams below us.
