What are your best trios of:

Keeper and 2 centre backs that have played together in Albion teams

This is obviously inspired by the form of Ryan, Dunk and Duffy.

Surely these boys have to be up there.

What a unit. Back to their very, very best recently. Goals win you games, but these guys certainly keep us in them!!

Yes it is, the full backs have been good at times but these 3 have been outstanding and i am asking have we had a better trio in Albion history, playing together in those positions

What about:
Moseley
Stevens
Fossie

Maybe they were not in the same league athletic wise to the modern lads, but on muddy pitches it was a different game and they all showed class.

So were they better than the current trio?

Was there a better trio?


How much is Dunk, Duffy and Ryan worth

I would say they are priceless.

Kuipers, Cullip and Wicks were quality in our back to back promotion seasons, although I'm not suggesting they were better players individually.

Mainly guesswork but I think these two trios are very closely matched.

Foster and Dunk have stuff in common.
Stevens and Duffy much less.
I suspect Maty Ryan is a marginally better goalkeeper than was Graham Moseley.

Great players all of them. 3 from our previous golden age and 3 from the present one.

One of the guys I go to the football with posed the question, would Duffy and Dunk as a partnership improve any of the top six teams? We decided they probably would improve most of them, blue tinted specs?

In answer to the op’s question I reckon they are better than anyone I have seen play for the Albion since 1975, including Foster et al

I’d go with this but replace Wicks with Morgan.
