Not sure there is much to see here really, is there?

Factoring is a perfectly normal activity in many fields of business and, as that article says, other clubs have done it recently, and I would imagine many more have that aren't detailed.

That's not to say they aren't an utter mess of a football club, of course.

However, many on here have slung mud up the M23 at their live-for-today attitude that has seen Premier League zillions pissed up against a wall whilst Selhurst crumbles and their academy has seen little investment. If they are now looking at a more sustainable approach, that should surely be applauded, no matter how quietly.

Agreed, factoring is common in the Premier League (the Albion have done similar in relation to broadcast income) and whilst some see it as a glorified form of payday loans, makes sense given that income is erratic (season tickets for most clubs* are paid for in advance, sponsors and broadcast income is paid in instalments every few months, whilst costs (especially wages) are paid on weekly/monthly basis and so cash can go negative at times unless there's a loan/overdraft facility to cover it.

*The Albion ST income is of course monthly

And while we are critical of Selhurst Barcelona and PLB and their methods, they keep finishing above us. So who's right?

Not really an issue and not really a fair comparison given the extra PL years... think it was the first time in over a decade they’d finished above us in a league season 17/18

In fairness, the HF appear from that image, to be the only ones who have NOT ****ed off home.

I suppose when you've whined, bitched, connived and black-mailed your way to the best seats in the house, you might as well stay in them for as long as possible.

A stick the goonsquad regularly use to beat us with, whilst trying to perpetuate the fictional MYTH that they are all such die-hard fans, every single one of them, that they all stay glued to their seats whatever the score, whatever the opposition, whatever the weather.

Thats not to mention the 8,000-9,000 who suddenly find something else to do when they're not playing in the top flight. What a bunch of deluded, self-aggrandising SPANNERS.

Now we're above them in the league, the migration has begun.

It'll be great to wave goodbye to that last few stragglers over the next 3 games.

TBH when we're 2-0 down to Leicester on a bleak Saturday afternoon a few weeks from now our stands won't look dissimilar to that (albeit we won't have a wanky banner to make it look bad)

Oh come on don't go muddying the waters with actual FACTS. The divs have repeated it often enough to convince themselves so why haven't they convinced you too??

Absolutely, yes.

But we don't pretend we are any different to any other fanbase. Football supporters are all largely the same regardless of where we're born, the colours we wear and the club we support.

it's just those up the A23 think they're a bit special. As it turns out they are, just not in the way they'd like to think...

Oh rest assured they'll still be cutting & pasting from here back to Goonsquad HQ, so that tragic little gaggle of sneering, mutually-fellating cockpangles over there can all w*nk themselves into a frenzy from atop their imaginary high horses, whilst endlessly repeating their favourite nonsensical mantras ad-nauseam "you didn't fight for your ground" etc etc etc etc.

Their horrific inbred twattery is not simply dependent on league positions. It is infinite.

Seems unlikely that the two clubs' relative league positions or prospects, are likely to change significantly over the course of the next three games

(United A, Leicester H, Liverpool A for us / Chelsea A, Liverpool H, Burnley A for them)

It’s funny this thread has been bounced after you go above us on goal difference ???
At least it gives the wordsmith Easy a chance to get all his anger out.
I’ll still post on here, we’ll at least till the next ban being issued.
