CH's tactics allowed WHU to tit around with the ball in that part of the pitch, passing sideways and backwards. Diop, Rice, Noble had all the time in the world, to get nowhere fast.

Thought the same, great if you want your midfielder to pass the ball sideways. England already have that player in Eric Dier.
Once shared a cable car with Dowie, when away skiing. In a brief chat, he made a bitchy remark about the Albion. Came across as a prick.

So it’s back to the scouting drawing board for the FAI, in a search for other Englishmen.
Well, Southgate says he hasn't promised Rice a place and he now plays in midfield, so....
I reckon he’ll be picked quickly for a friendly or as a sub, to thank him and because Dier can come across as a slow juggernault mobility-wise in the sitting midfielder role.

I still think Jack Grealish is right up there. You only have to look at the way Aston Villa have fallen apart while he's been injured. And just because you have almost the same haircut as him doesnt mean I look anything like him! Grrrr!
