Sometime before 10am on Sportsweek. Should be interesting. Talking about Dan Ashworth.
Who ever thought that this club would be in a position where we could out-pay the FA? Back in the days of Archer and Bellotti, the loss of The Goldstone and eleven points adrift at the bottom of the league, if you had asked us for our fantasy chairman, we would have probably all described Tony Bloom. Committed, loaded, but also with enough nous to plan everything for a sustainable future. We are almost singularly lucky to have a chairman like him.

Are we out paying the FA? Paul Barber used to work for the FA. It struck me they were saying the only reason Ashworth could be coming to us is for more pay. Sometimes, in life, people change jobs for a challenge rather than just monetry reasons.
It was another way of saying, no disrepect to Brighton, but....
Why only ALMOST singularly lucky?
Looking forward to it. Presented by Richardson like an astounding coup, on a par with us singing Brazil's new star, or my getting off with Fanny Ardant.

My money is on him taking a job at one of the tv companies or at the Premier League itself.
