I get a little bit of condensation droplets in the roof on very cold mornings. I've been advised to have some air vent tiles installed....8 of them. 4 in and 4 out.
We had a new roof fitted on our bathroom extension less than 3 years ago. Tonight we've had this torrential rain and water is running down the walls. We recently removed the tiles ready to redecorate so this may have been going on for a long time. Is it reasonable to expect the roofer to repair it? I know most builders are probably broke or struggling due to covid but this is too much damage to ignore.
NB this was part of a much bigger job. We paid one firm to do the works and subcontractor as needed so if I have any claim I assume it's via the guys we employed not the roofer? More to the point even if i knew who the roofer was i didn't have a contract directly with them. And no I wasn't given any specific warranty documents except for our new windows
