The match between Accrington Stanley & Burton Albion being played at 3 pm Saturday is being shown live on ifollow at a cost of £10, expect someone will say many games are shown this way. But, forget the jokes etc, isn't showing live 3pm Saturday games illegal?
Looking at the EFL/ifollow web page it states "EFL Clubs will be able to live-stream in the UK and Ireland any league match via their respective iFollow (or equivalent) service that takes place outside the blocked hours of 14.45-17.15 on Saturday afternoons". So that is any game EXCEPT 3 pm Saturdays

Is there an exemption due to the international break? There are no Premier League or Championship games being played this weekend, so that could be a factor.

The Accrington chairman is seething. First he's heard of it, and they don't use iFollow.

So their home game is being broadcast, and they get no benefit except a reduced Saturday 3pm gate on day PL and Championship fans have off.

It only costs £7.99 for 24 hours of full Sky Sports with Now TV. That's daylight robbery.

The chairman must have considered it, but for whatever reason known to himself, this wasn't done.

He still seems incandescent about the situation.
