[Travel] replacement bus service

The replacement bus service on the West Coast Line was absolutely hopeless. When the bus eventually arrived 2 people got on out of nearly 40 waiting (not all going to the match). Used the ordinary service into Brighton, took 2 hours to get the Amex. It isn't rocket science to have engineering works on non match days is it? Total lack of foresight by Network Rail why not have a shuttle service up to the nearest station where the works are taking place?

Face it, replacement bus services are never a genuine replacement for trains. They're a token gesture by the train companies. It would be more honest if they just said the service was suspended so that folks could make realistic replacement arrangements.
