Government very strict now on number plates. You must take your V5 document and the number plate is made to strict laws regarding distance between letters.

Indeed - my lad works in Halfords and the machine / software won't let him space or format the plate incorrectly. One more than one occasion customers have got vile and abusive.

I have bought from these guys a number of times, no V5 required and delivered in a couple of days for £20 for both front and back plates. Less hassle than going out to buy them
