One appears to be about 80 % of the other. Is that correct?

Have a read and get back to me.

here and there
Amex capacity - 30,666
Average attendance 2018/19 - 30,426*
% of max capacity - 99.21%

Selhurst capacity - 25,486
Average attendance 2018/19 - 25,455*
% of max capacity- 99.87%

What was that about never letting facts get in the way? ???

Oh, and https://www.newsshopper.co.uk/sport...mpty-when-crystal-palace-are-playing-so-well/

The answer to the above is that the palace support is a tinpot plastic can't be arsed support base that doesn't realise that there is football outside of the PL.

Guardian MBM commentary manages to mention Zaha and a local fried chicken outlet in its build-up. Will the goon squad now be after them with accusations of racism?

“Graeme Souness loves Zaha. I wonder how the rest of his career will pan out – he has the talent to play in the Champions League, but Palace can afford to price him out of moves. That’s got to be annoying, but on the plus side, he’s still handy for Tasty Jerk.”

Adults(?) arguing about attendances. Grow up ffs. Truth is we're similar sized clubs with decent enough fanbases doing well to stay up and hold our own in the big league.
Some people's rose tinted spectacles when it comes to palace is laughable

Probably worth pointing out that various Nigels have accused us of being plastic for turning up in huge numbers at the Amex when we didn't manage to fill Withdean. In response, we took the piss out of them for not coming close to filling up Selhurst whenever they weren't in the Prem. Even at our 0-0 play off semi at their dump, there were 2,000 empty seats (we of course sold out the Amex in the second leg).

And I haven't even mentioned their decline from 51k to 4k over just 4 seasons back in the 80s. Ultimate plasticity there.

So all a bit childish but it's the hypocrisy over attendances from some of them that grates.

Chant definitely needed for our December Palace fixture along the lines of:

“He’s one of your own, he’s one of your own,
Wants to be at Arsenal,
Zaha’s one of your own”

Can go even easier than that..

"You'll always play for Palace"
