Its obvious we needed a wake-up call and we have got one at the earliest opportunity.

The entire build-up among all of us, fans, club alike, has been one of over-confidence bordering on complacency. The selection and performance today was absolute continuation of that.

A rude awakening - act on it and we can do what we are capable of.

I wouldn't say we've been over-complacent. The team was just shite out there and I feel for the fans making the journey home from up north this evening.

Sometimes in life you should take a risk... our team is incredibly predictable at times.

The problem away from home is Gross and Murray are to slow to press and harass. It all becomes predictable like you say. When we do break Murray is simply smothered by about 4 defenders.
Would like to see Propper break forward more when we are on the attack.

I'd rather points on the board than a wake-up call.

It was one game! One poor game, but just one, away, where we collected 3 away points all last season.

Hopefully Bissouma, Andone and Izquierdo will solve that issue.

Run that past me again

We won at Swansea and West Ham for a start. That is 6 points already

It takes time for new players to be introduced and bed in so things can only get better when they finally become integrated

Only at our club, others appear to be able to do it straight away.

It was the first game of the season, after a positive end to last year and a good off-season, where apparently everyone was f'itter than ever and ready to press all game'. That performance was symptomatic of something. Hopefully we'll not see the like of that again.
