[Albion] Watford train

Last season When I went to Watford I used the underground stopping at Watford Met.Had real issues getting home.
This Saturday I’m thinking of going to Watford junction is this the sensible way?

Overground to Watford High Street.

Clapham Junction to Watford Jct takes 40 minutes. Overground from Euston to Watford High Street stops everywhere. I would go via the former as it's not that far to walk to Vicarage Road and there are more pubs/eateries en route. The 12.40 from Clapham gets to Watford Junction at 13.21 though I would go for the train at 11.40 for a few more beers

Watford High Street is the nearest station. Clapham Junction to Willesden Junction, Willesden Junction to Watford High Street both London Overground, trains every 20mins or so on both lines, no need t look up times, if you allow 1 hr from Clapham Junction to Watford High Street that should be fine.
