Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the signing of defender Leo Skiri Ostigard from Norwegian Eliteserien side Molde FK on undisclosed terms.

The 18-year-old has signed a three-year contract, and will initially link up with Albion’s under-23 squad.

Captained the Norwegian U-20 side against the Slovakian U-21 side today and scored the second goal in a 2-0 victory.

He will be hoping to secure a spot in the Norwegian squad for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland starting in May this summer.

Leo Skiri Ostigard?

His name reminds me of a good striker we had who scored some great, and important goals, and who left the club with real dignity; and of a craaaazy winger who was totally nuts, had very good dressing up skills when pissed, and who liked our recognition of him at Millwall.

What’s not to like?

Bound to be flair.
