It seems that Rohan was 'hiding' an injury when he was picked up by Charlton and they have now booted him out.

How much should a club be obliged to look after their players when injured?

Surely RI underwent a medical and has a contract. Should Charlton be obliged to retain Rohan for the length of his contract before kicking him out?

Are Charlton's medical staff to blame for not seeing something? Presumably Rohan signed some form of declaration saying he didn't know he was injured.

Who carries the blame and is it right for Rohan just to be dumped?

Perhaps it was at the medical before signing a contract that the injury was discovered so they have no obligation towards him we have released him so we have no obligation so as they say tough s..t

Had played twice in pre-season for them. A number of news reports of him being praised for his performance, then suddenly gets the boot, but JFC just out for the season despite also having knee injury - that's what made me think there was something amiss.

Hadn't realised he was on trial and hadn't signed though so the original question is moot.

He can have play 20 games in trials but the only time a medical comes into affect is when they want to offer a contract and I would imagine that this is a knock on from that.

Have the people posting on this thread decided to ignore the very key fact pointed out straight away about him only being a trialist?!
