Sussex take on table toppers Gloucestershire tonight who are on 9 points after playing 6 games , Sussex on 8 points having played 6 games also , the weather has already put the mockers on 2 of our games but it looks like a nice dry warm evening to come so fingers crossed for a full match , the game will be shown live on SSCricket starting at 18.45 , for some reason i thought we were supposed to be playing Hampshire tonight so if they turn up as well it could get Lionel

Think this will be the first televised game for Sussex in the T20 this season , Surrey can't be playing tonight i guess , looking forward to seeing Rashid and Briggs do their stuff on a hopefully spin friendly surface , Archer is starting to get into his stride and the wickets keep coming , the youngsters look to be settling in as well with the bat so all looks good for a cracking game .

I'm off tonight, first Sussex game for 2 years unfortunately (bad fan)

What's the score on taking booze in? Is there zero toleration and I'll need to smuggle in, or are they a bit more relaxed as it's 20/20?

Its varies year to year on who has the beer contract. But they have very diligent bag searches. Nothing is relaxed about 20 20, it is the cricket spawn of the devil.

Looking forward to going to this tonight. Last game we went to was England v Windies last September up at the Oval.

Nearly got tickets for last Sunday's game. Glad I picked this one instead.

Not allowed to take booze to a 20/20 match. It will depend on whether there are bag searches, which are not unknown at Hove.
