While we are all awaiting the big news, can someone help me with this really simple Excel query. I need a formula which will give me the total number of W, D and L for Brazil from the following sample table. Should be easy, but it's doing my head in...

i didnt copy your data exactly but you can add some formulas - first column determines if brazil home or away - 2nd column then checks the respective column for the result and then the 3rd column sums up the w/d/l results

Not got excel at home but you need to use COUNTIFS

Have a look at https://exceljet.net/excel-functions/excel-countifs-function and if you haven’t sorted it by morning I’ll have a look
