Off to Charlton tomorrow but have to go straight from work and take the car.

From what I read, parking is a bit of a mare so has anyone been before and have any suggestions?

I don't really want to park miles away and get a tube.

Top of the hill past the ground is all free on street parking with no restrictions

I parked at the O2 last time (was going to an event there afterwards but it worked well). About 30 mins walk.

It's called The Village. There's a free car park there behind the pub.

From what I understand, if you sign up to the Charlton 'free valley pass' you can listen to live audio commentary on the match.
If you cannot go or haven't got Seagulls TV

Looking on streetview seems most of the local parking restrictions finish at 6pm so should be able to find somewhere to park within a 5/10 minute walk.

We always park in Anchor and Hope Lane, down towards the Thames.
