i have this terrible habbit of always saluting MAGPIES whenever i see one.

if i see 2 i will salute twice and so on.

i have always done it, in the car, in the street, ****ing anywhere.

i know i look a right prick doing it but just cant stop.

Any one else have this "trouble"??

I was told that seeing one magpie was bad luck and two was good luck. So when I see one on the way to a Brighton game I frantically look around for another one!

I saw one driving up the A24 on the way to the '91 play-off final.

Seeing as we were playing the Magpies that day I remember thinking that was a bad omen and we all spent the rest of the journey desperately searching for another one.

Needless to say we didn't spot another and the rest was history.....

Only salute one Magpie, never two!!!

I never walk over 3 drain covers in a row-

I do walk under ladders though, i make a point of doing so!

never do the 3 drains either - but 2 IS good luck.

My ex used to do it, a nightmare if you have ever driven from Luton to Bedford as there are about 8 million of them on that road.

Yep, salute Magpies, won't walk under ladders, touch wood when i say something I don't want to happen, throw salt over my left shoulder if i spill any (although I always think i'm doing the wrong shoulder) and say bless you if someone sneezes.

Paranoid...moi?
