What a luxury of choice the Germans have there. No room for Klinsmann or Klose, the all time highest goalscorer in World Cups (though could overtaken by Thomas Müller at some stage maybe?). Maier or Neuer. Not sure about Hummels myself, but I admit I'm no expert on German football.

Presumably they're not doing this exercise for ALL the World Cup nations, as I'd struggle to name the all time best Iranians, I confess.

I disagree with half of that team plus Beckenbauer/Matthaeus played the same role so you cant have both well you could but it wouldnt work.

No room for Toni Kroos in midfielder in a Germany all time XI. What an embarrassment of riches.

As for England you have to have Lineker, Scholes and Gascoigne.
