[Albion] BHA - First fixture 2018/2019 Season

Was having a debate last night as to our opening league fixture for next season.

Do we want it to be:

One of the top 6 home/away to get it out of the way & perhaps nick a point before they hit form?

A newly promoted team - new fixture & a good shout for 3 points?

The enemy in Palace?

A mid table side - let our squad settle & hopefully collect some points?

Or I don’t care?

There was a difference of opinion during our debate. Your thoughts?

A mid table side, what like Liverpool? They’re mid table at the moment :)

Arsenal at the Amex would be good for me, if it’s an away game Fulham please.

Probably won’t be first game because it won’t be finished but would love to be first game at new White Hart Lane

A mid/low table side away as first match there are often fans away on holidays still so just a boring match to get out of the way.

Haywards Heath
Aston Villa away. Palace are relegated due to irregularities and Aston Villa come up in their place.

What??

Best time to play a big 6 team full of tired World Cup players.

Especially if they also have a new manager as well who hasn't embedded his style of play yet / players not used to the way he wants the team set up. Could be good to player Arsenal early on.
