Several times during the two Play Off Semi Finals played s far this weekend, Sy commentators have referred to the trophy lift at the end of the game. That's never a phrase l've come across before, and is simply when the winning captain holds the cup aloft.

A phrase we are all about to hear a lot more often l fear. The English language, as rewritten by Sky Sports.

I thought the Romans invented football, and of course the aquaduct!
The English invented football, but I'm happy to say that the Chinese did if they want to send be a bribe.
