[Football] Chris Ramsey.

Just thought this needed to be mentioned.
Ex Albion player Chris Ramsey, now at QPR as technical director , has won the Eamonn Dolan Award, in recognition to youth football.
Have met him a couple of times, over the years, and has always come across a decent chap.

Absolutely amazing gent. I coach in the Youth Academy at my local team AFC Telford United. QPR's U23s-U15s were all staying down in Lilleshall and asked for a game against our Youth Team at 2 weeks notice - 2 years ago. We gave them a right good go and narrowly lost out to their U18's (featuring the young lad Eze who is now attracting a lot of attention). We should have nicked a draw right at the death, but thats beyond the point.

Their manager was Paul Furlong and Chris Ramsey was overseeing proceding with him. As was Simon Ireland, our former U23s manager. After the game, Ramsey was such a gent and complimented us on what a great job we had done especially at 2 weeks notice. Dropped in that i was an Albion fan and we had a great chat. He has a lot of love for us still and would be keen on working for us in the future. Great guy
