[Music] If you like sweet soul music: Durand Jones and The Indications - tonight in Brighton

For those who like soul, this is a must, and even if you’re not a big soul fan, ( I’m more of an indie boy myself) go and see this band tonight as part of the Great Escape Festival. Saw them last night in London and would really recommend them. A seven piece from America, with a big sound and great songs. They can all really play and the front man, Durand Jones, and the drummer, remind me of some of the best 60’s soul singers. They are that good. Go and check them out. Destined for big things.

Yep - they’re on my must-see list at Latitude. They sound brilliant.

Check out St Paul and the Broken Bones too. Lead singer is a dead ringer for Alan Carr, until he opens his mouth. Omfg.
