Just gone past Gatwick... was scheduled to get back at 9:30 but the train departing at 5:14 into Preston was delayed. Arriving about 11:15 now.
Via Crewe into Euston.. Pancras to Brighton.. was this the quickest route... not a lot of Brighton fans on the train, have we missed something!

Good result in any case!

Makes a change to have so many different routes home. We didnt want to risk the 1715, if it was on time lots would have missed it. We got the 1735 to Manchester and are just leaving Orpington now. Battle at 0014 home by 0030. Couldn't go via Vic due to buses from Lewes.

Back home in Worthing for 10:45. Flying Southampton to Manchester is much more preferable than cramming on Virgin Trains.

Coach back to Seven Dials at 23:45 followed by a walk to Woodingdean to compensate sitting down for 12 hours...

We were also on this train thanks to the delay leaving Burnley. There seemed to be more Liverpool fans on board than anyone else. Had a chat with a Wycombe fan and some lively AFC Wimbledon. Got back around eleven and then went out again.

Drove up and back. Loads of Albion at Chorley and some scarves etc I cars.

Lovely to see.

When first class travel is the same price as normal fares its quite relaxing and you get fed

5.12 to Leeds was a few minutes late - walked straight onto this one
ten minute wait at Leeds and onto train to Sheffield
two minute wait and got on non stop train to Derby - was late running Newcastle to Southampton - full of West Brom as via Birmingham

Also some Portsmouth on the metro in Fancy dress heading to Bury and a couple of Dagenham on the train.
