Baffling media nonsense about Newcastle staying up having spent hardly anything compared to their fellow promoted teams. "Rafa for manager of the year!". How much money did they spend on players whilst in the Championship compared to us and Huddersfield last season? Guess that doesn't count:mad:

The club is up for sale. Ashley has already said he isn't putting any more money into it.

Yes, they spent money a couple of years ago, but won't be doing so any more.

Last season in the Premier League Newcastle spent over £114 million on players.

Ashley was previously a tight arse, gave McClaren and Benitez plently of money the year they went down.

We had the 4th highest net spend in the Championship that summer, Huddersfield the sixth, NUFC recorded the highest net profit.

So 1 to put in my lucky 15 for relegation next season then(if they stay up).:)

The loan signing of Kenedy was a masterstroke and Rafa has done a good job of keeping the wolf from the door at Newcastle. However, if he leaves they'll have problems.
