[Football] Neil Warnock tells it like it is

He loves a WAR analogy, does Colin. Always banging on about who he'd want with him "in the trenches".

Its also noticable how his early season happy-go-lucky "just happy to be here" demeanour has gradually slipped, due to Cardiff actually being in with a chance of staying up. I'm sure he expected them to be in Huddersfields position by now, dead and buried. But as they're not, old narky Neil has re-emerged as it turns out each game now actually matters after all.

That mask was always going to slip. He tried laughing off what he considered bad decisions, but before long he just can't help but become that nasty, snarling, Mr Angry. Only Colin can come out of a 1-5 home defeat and blame the officials. yep, they are his true colours, shining through ... as Cyndi Lauper would say.

Don't like him, never have. How he was not banned from the game after that Sheff Utd vs West Brom debacle, I'll never know. I'm with Weststander in seeing him as the ultimate bad loser.

Managed the second and third reincarnation of CPFC, nothing more to add....

I just can't take him too seriously. At least I can have a chuckle watching his antics. He's always had a good word for us too, especially when support for our cause from other managers was a rarity.

Dyche on the other hand. A real hypocritical bore of the highest order.

I know Warnock is marmite but I always quite liked him! Suspect now he’s 70, that might be that for him and management.

I think he said he was retiring at the end of the season anyway? Could be wrong.

Planned to retire at end of the season but then the call came from Ant and Dec.

Dec phoned the chairman and got the deal over the line.

I'm so excited.

Good luck to Neil Warnock getting his compensation from Cardiff City...no doubt they'll claim he wasn't their manager.

Only a mere three and a half years replying to this post.

Amazed he had such good words for the Albion, especially since Danny Cullip allegedly head butted him after he was substituted shortly after joining Sheffield United.

Sean Dyche on the other hand l actually really like, as a person anyway. With Burnley struggling to stay up most seasons he was there, he just had to employ every trick in the book to keep them in the Premier League. I don't blame him for that. I hope he returns to the game soon, he would do a good job for someone l'm sure.

Someone once told me Colin is a traveling man. Doesn’t seem the type.
