The formation is a minor reason for that loss. Utd lost because they were crap and didn’t play like a team that needed to win to proceed.

Point of order. Man U were not held in Seville, more the other way round. De Gea made several blinding saves across both legs and Sevilla had 51 shots in total across the two matches. The reality is Sevilla totally battered Man U.
