But if we were to drop our GD would worsen and any team overtaking us theirs would be better than now. B'muff, Newcastle and Soton well within turnaround territory, so a little early to be confident of our GD
Being pedantic, it's worth half a point. i.e. puts us ahead of anyone with the same number of points but behind anyone with a point more.
No. Bournemouth, Newcastle and SCC would go above us on GD if they caught up on points (as they'd need to get points while we lost games etc). Away to Liverpool and City could be ugly too.
