Brighton factually.....
Well unlike the current weather, I love the summer and July always holds good memories of when school would break up and hot weather would occasionally kick in and long nights, with a nice cool drink.

What is yours ?

August. Kids off school. Less traffic. Football season starts. Good weather.

April - weather starting to turn, that end of season feeling, a few bank holidays. General sense of optimism (apart from all those seasons where we went down).

September. We stand on the threshold of the greatest season of the year (autumn) as the last vestiges of summer slip away and the leaves begin to change, with the first frost or two if we're lucky.

December.
I love being off work with the family, the build up to Christmas, and most of the country shuts down for a day or two (rather than the relentless running around of the rest of the year).

It's hard to pin down a summer month, as any can be a complete wash out even in SE England.

July is the only month the climate is close to bearable. November has to be the worse

June. Weather is decent. Normally go abroad when prices are reasonable as it's not school holidays and there are no fixtures to worry about.

June - first taste of proper summer weather with the added bonus of the longest days of the year. Plus you know there's still all the rest of summer still to come.

No-brainer - August. Summer holidays, school holidays, bank holiday, start of the new football season.

September.

I love October and November too but September wins it: the weather starts to get autumnal and the colours change. It's also one of the only two months with football, cricket and rugby being played
