The away fans are in one corner, and the lower-tier views are pretty poor, I'm told. But the huge, odd-shaped main stand, the church in one corner, the narrow, terraced streets all hemming the ground in ... proper old-school.
Some choice insults though: "Moon-headed dinosaur"; "hamster-cheeked bellwhiff"; "gravy guzzler"
One has to respect supporters who come up with these insults.

Exactly this, I've been numerous times but never to see the Albion obviously.Always seem to get to sit behind one of those concrete pillars that hold the roof up on one of the side stands with a couple of cloth capped scousers berating their team for a full 90 minutes. Bloody funny those scousers!
