I've written a kids book for release in the run up to the World Cup and am looking for an illustrator. Book is aimed at the 7-9 bracket.

Would be a paid (not loads!) collaboration.

Shout if you know anyone. Would be good to work with a fellow Albion fan.

Cheers all x

(Hope this is OK Bozza)

Holly Swain is great - http://www.hollyswain.co.uk

Lives in Hove, not a football fan, but very easy to work with.

Is this book for 7-9 year old based around the World Cup also a tie in for a new film?
If so that market might be a little niche.

Hi Gripper,
Another family recommendation here: https://www.elliestration.org/
My step-daughter Ellie rarely gets to the Amex with me these days, though she's great at children's illustrations (has an MA in Children's Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art) and has done several books already.
Ellie now works as an author/ illustrator for One Third Stories Ltd, as well as freelancing on private illustration, graphic design and mural commissions. She's worked as a model-maker for animation, and was a regular contributing illustrator for STEW Magazine for Curious Kids until its closure in 2016.

Does anyone on NSC NOT know a kids' illustrator? I thought it was relatively niche - apparently not.

 was thinking the same.

NSC, better than Google.

Which is why I hate the people who sniff at the holiday recommendation threads, inferring that those who start them are just showing off. This is the best place on the internet I know to get knowledgeable advice without wading through a load of crap*.
