[NSC] Anyone else getting slow page loading from NSC today...

but not from other website (Guido, Telegraph etc..)

As well as waiting for www.northstandchat.com , I get the same for ajadserve.postrelease.com, something like fo-api.omnitags etc...

Or maybe it is just me?

Seems fine to me.

That URL is not an NSC URL, so is likely an advertising network. As we all receive different ads at different times, it's difficult to diagnose that kind of thing as one network may be interested in you (based on your demographics and sites you've previously visited) but not me.

Well, I've currently got these ads...

- eBuyer (I bought something from there a few days ago)
- A strange 3 line text ad that includes links to central London hotels (I was searching for one yesterday), Isle of Wight ferries (I was looking last week) and San Francisco hotels (I was looking a couple of days ago)
- John Lewis (I checked out their desks recently)

...whereas you probably haven't.

Switched from Chrome to IE11 and it seems to be much quicker. Will try to clear out any old Chrome cache/cookies etc... see if it helps!

Blimey... have cleared cache / cookie in Chrome... after 20 mins general NSC browsing I now have 90 cookies already... is this normal? and is it a 'good thing' ? :(
