I ended up eating really late, just threw some chicken, cheese, shallot and peanuts in a dish and stuck it in the oven, opened a bottle of wine and prepared a green salad. Watched a weird programme called Calgary (I think). Been a brilliant weekend!

My wife is a vegan so when I’m eating alone I tend to get the messiest, shittiest meat option available- kebab meat and chips with garlic mayo and chilli sauce is my usual go to. I don’t care how good it tastes or how well the animals were treated in the making of it (the worse the better to be honest) I just go all out- I want meat grease dribbling into my beard if possible
