Reports in Scotland that we are lining up a 6m bid for Barnsley centre back..

Pity we didn't go for him in the summer then, before he went to Barnsley. Bet he didn't cost a fraction of £6M back then.

What's wrong with never having heard of him? I'd never heard of any of the players we got in during the summer, and I doubt if many others on here had either.

That was the point I was sarcastically making.

The poster said football had gone 'mad' because he hadn't heard of him.

The poster was referring to a UK player being valued at 6 million.

A player that few of us have heard of.

Carlos kickaball knocking in 8 LA Liga goals and being valued at 6 mill is one thing, but an unheard of, from the Championship

This shows how silly football has got.
This lad very nearly signed for oxford , six months ago, for 350k. There was a change of manager and he pulled out and went to Barnsley .
And we are talking 6 mill? I don’t even think he’s played every game for Barnsley

It doesn't sound as if he is a league 1 player to me, any more than Conor Goldson was a league 2 player.
