Foreman when he was young and destroying everyone on his way up to winning the heavy weight title was actually a nasty menacing figure like Mike Tyson was. Losing to Muhammed Ali, who was the peoples champion and then coming out of retirement as a completely different character, winning the title back at nearly 50. was what made him a hugely popular figure with the public for his new grill.
