The market is obviously still fresh but some bizarre names in the running with the bookies: Giggs early favourite at 3/1, with Roberto Mancini and Sean Dyche at 6s and Brendan Rodgers and Ronald Koeman at 8s... surely Giggs is the only one of those that would be interested in taking the job?

Yes, I can't see Stoke having much appeal for Mankini, Dyche or Rodgers. Given Stoke's next game is Man United away, it will probably go to Giggs and be the subject of wall to wall coverage and foaming at the mouth on Sky for the next fortnight.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Coates family have a plan with an option although well in the mix to go down they will have a manager in place by Monday ?

He might well be interested but with so little management experience i cant believe anybody would take him on, an assistant managers position below the Premiership league would seem to be his next appointment
