Sheff Utd took a gamble that Brewster would be able to step up to Prem standard. The worst case scenario is they get relegated and he returns to the Championship where he is a proven 1 in 2 striker.
That might seem like a decent gamble to take in normal times, but this is the Covid era, and if you drop into the Championship you lose money hand over fist even with parachute payments.
Swansea relied on a young Tammy Abraham to keep them in the Prem and he couldn't do it. I feel the Blades have made a similar mistake. However, Tammy went on to have a killer season in the Championship and is now a 2 in 5 Prem striker and England International, Brewster could do the same.

Pereira @ West Brom would be a good signing as would several players at all three of the clubs. None of the bottom three will survive but that doesn't make all their players rubbish
