By the end of February we will have played our second match against seven of the eight teams currently below us in the table (the exception bein Palarse). It would seem that by then our chances of staying up may be sealed. The home games v Bournemouth, Swansea admnd West Ham will be particularly important. We will want to beat Swansea, West Brom and Bournemouth, the current bottom three.
I think we will need at least a further 12 points by end of February and perhaps more given the harder games in March and April. This would mean a total of at least 33 points from 29 games.
My target / prediction to get the 12 points is:
Newcastle draw
Bournemouth win
West Brom win
Chelsea loss
Soulhampton draw
West Ham draw
Stoke loss
Swansea win
This shows how important the next three games are when we may not benefit from new signings.. There is also no reason why we couldnt realistically hope to win all of these games apart from Chelsea. We have shown the ability to beat all of these teams if we can score the goals
