Surprised that, as Police and Crime Commissioner for the past five years, Katy Bourne hasn't personally sought to find out how Sussex Police operate on Albion match days, especially as - as was stated in the video - it's the second largest operation (after Pride) the force takes on.

No surprise about the incompetence of sussex police to police big matches . No news on what really went wrong and the many mistakes that they made . At least they are looking forward to the next one lol

I particularly like the " inaccuracies reported in the media" comment.
Didn't the media just print the official press release about weapons being found and kept as evidence?
Has the guy in charge that night returned from his well earned holiday ?

A pointless position and a waste of public funds.

Merdian News trying to wind up the public on TV tonight about policing costs...........

‘Is it fair the taxpayer has to fund policing costs outside the stadium ?’

....surprisingly balanced views from some of those interviewed on the streets, Dineage did his best to create controversy. Complete non-article in the end.

That old chestnut. A lot of those taxpayers are football fans, so why wouldn’t it be fair? Don line of questioning.

On the subject of police involved in football.

This made me smile, on the subject of police involved in footy, especially Herts police commenting on early leavers.

She's too busy making jars of her special Christmas pickle for the village hall.

Did I miss the apology? She asked them if they would like to apologise but guy with stars went off somewhere else in his answer. Pathetic. No admittance of any fault regarding the knives and knuckledusters.

Am I correct in thinking that her role has to be voted by the public? Perhaps if we threaten to put up our own candidate ( just like the Lewes elections ) then she may look into this matter with a bit more care and consideration!
