Whats the reason you midnight NSC surfers are online?
Too much coffee or alcohol keeping you awake.
Just inquisitive to know, for me it's 12 hour night shifts.

Stripping paint from walls and door frames, the previous owner decided it was a good idea to paint everywhere with emulsion paint and to exasperate the problem the owner before him decided that as the original owner hadn't mist coated the new plaster as it was then and had subsequently flaked and peeled, that he would level the appearance of the walls by using a lime based paint (distemper) to create the flattish appearance, muggings here has decided to remove all previous coats, a painstaking messy crap job but has to be done by xmas ready for my sons arrival from Aussie. ( hence surfing whilst the stripper does its stuff)

Usually only us expats on the night shift as it isn't night time where we are.
Insomniacs can be included as well as shift workers I suppose.
