Mostly on the right throughout my life of serial monogamy....
Interestingly, and without thought, I have always taken the side closest to the door apart from once (possibly because of a demanding other half).
Now I'm on my own I still take the side closest to the door.

The same goes for me on the right nearest the door but in the past I have always slept nearest the door whether it be right or left.
On the right and nearest to the bedroom door which, like all doors and windows in the flat, must be fully closed or I can't sleep.
