Was just looking at this as a few colleagues go to the Albion too and we have our xmas works do that evening. According to thetrainline there's due to be replacement buses from Lewes to Polegate - could be a right pain. Surely they'll rethink this as there's a game on? Anyone got any previous experience of these engineering works being cancelled due to footy or are they likely to go through with it?

Southampton was rail replacement from Three Bridges to Brighton. They won't change their plans.

Engineering work in normally programmed a year in advance so I doubt it will cancelled for a football match.

Gonna be at my works Xmas dinner on the Friday afternoon followed swiftly by Liam Gallagher at the Brighton Centre. Expecting a very red boat Saturday morning. Hair of the dog will be required.
