He may well be bitter. But that isn't unusual. However if he said we are 'bang average and will be relegated' then he clearly doesn't have a great grasp of either the English language or of Mathematics. Average teams do not finish in the relegation spots, below average teams do. If we are bang average we will be finishing about mid table and I for one will be delighted.
