Anyone else have a run in with any Southampton troglodytes today?

Cycling back I had three shouting ****** out a taxi at me and chanting "Bruno is a chutney" .
"Really?" I asked looking pitifully at them. Caught them up in traffic and they started again. Caught them up a second time opened cab door and offered them out.
Simultaneously glad and disappointed they didn't take the offer. Some verbals ensued. They have narrowly avoided a kicking, I've narrowly avoided a banning order and a taxi driver has narrowly avoided needing a specialised valet service.
Possible lessons learnt:
Me- cycling fast really raises adrenaline.
Taxi driver- picking up ***** may not be worth it.
Them- probably nothing, hopefully may hesitate before repeating such behaviour.

"Bruno is a chutney" - Tough to get worked up about that.

It's not big, it's not clever, but it did raise a little smile.

Great that the FA are getting exposed for their actions on diversity. The same for homophobia, say what they think they need to but don’t really care. Useless old gits :)

As I said fast cycling does raise the adrenaline. Also I'm a reasonably big man who does manual work and was sober.
No idea how it would have gone, but at the minimum would have come an excellent second in that mood.

Well aware. Entirely appreciate that non engagement would be more sensible. Something about their leering smug faces seeming certain they could be driven off without any comeback set me after them. Lucky my usual calm finally asserted itself.
