It’s a game of opinions but I’ve seen it twice and absolutely LOVED it.

I’m a Disney nerd however so may have some bias.

One of the best things in the West End if you enjoy a musical.

If you want something that’s totally overrated though, see Aladdin. Genuinely one of the worst things I’ve ever seen at the theatre.

I thought they were shit. No way is Simba worth the kind of transfer fees people have been talking about. Plus the Pridelands is a crap ground with no atmosphere. Loads of the so-called ‘hyenas’ around us left well before the end.

Don’t waste your money. See Half a Sixpence instead. Aladdin, the Genie aside, is genuinely a terrible production.

Saying that, if you love panto, you may enjoy Aladdin. It’s that kind of level.
