Had tickets but sold on due to work (Don't tell Paul Barber)...

Was there for the LA Rams v NY Giants game last season (Game wasn't that great but LA are a different team this year, much improved!)... I have been to many of the Wembley games too, always enjoy it, great day out, I prefer Twickenham to Wembley for it.

I'm making my first visit to Twickers a week Sunday to see the Vikings against the Browns, can't wait. Only thing is I'm missing the Southampton game (thanks for bumping it SKY).

6pm KO in line I guess with the rest of the Sunday early games, taking son and daughter up, thankful that my wife has sorted a hotel for the evening!!

Anyone else first think "Who the **** are the LA Twickers? What sport is this?"

I try and get to at least one England rugby match each year at Twickenham.

The whole day is wonderful. The pubs near the station are busy but a BRILLIANT atmosphere, queue management (makes such a difference) and 2 pinters of guiness.

Then the stadium itself is great. No segregation and drinking in your seat.

God, I love it.

That does sound really good apart from the rugby bit.

Im going tonight with my son and partner. NFL has never been my thing but it’s a corporate freebie with dinner and good seats thrown in so can’t hurt to go. Might even enjoy it. Will be a first going to to Twickenham too. Yee ha!

Can’t say it converted me in any way. 3 seconds of action followed by 3 minutes of nothing. Even goal music and t-shirt guns couldn’t sway me. Might have been a particularly sh|t game but I’d choose soccer every time .

There was not a game today, it never occurred. You can't convince me otherwise.

For me, there’s just something missing when NFL games are played in the UK.

I was a Giants season ticket holder at Meadowlands for a couple of years and there’s just something about the atmosphere (even in a cavernous, soulless dome in the middle of nowhere) which gives the game more life.

Fans are pretty passionate, there are more kiosks selling horrible food and a pleasant amount of aggro and swearing at the team.
