I watch brackley who are national league north. Not much difference between top end national league north and lower league 2. Many of the good non league players make a sensible decision to be part time and sort out a career. You are not going to retire on league 2 career so many players earn for doing both. That said there are lots of full time teams in the league. Not least Salford who pay good wages - some on close to 2k per week.

And then you have billericay three below league 2 with three ex prem players and lots of good conference players. Beating brackley 2-0. Ffs.

Look how FGR have struggled this season, though winning tonight . If Aldershot had gone up last season with 14 contracted players ,i think we'd be coming back down.

You do need to understand the billericay story at the moment though. Their business model makes the disparity with what Chelsea and Man City pay compared to Brighton Palace and Stoke seem negligible. Their owner is simply the biggest knobend in all of football, bar none. Just read about his 'c**ts in the jungle' story, then enjoy the Kingstonian fans chants at the end of the first game of the season. Billericay deserve no recognition whatsoever for their advances this season.

Always liked Billericay in the late 90's bit of rivalry between us . Tidy ground ,good social Club and a good few pubs. Shame what's happened there.

Leeds - but not the dirty bit
Occasionally watch Guiseley, at the ar*e end of the National League and I am usually pleasantly surprised by the standard.

Yeah. Weird goings on. The pre match r kelly is clearly audible from other changing room. Jake Robinson belting it out while hugging Paul konchesky.
