For a few days now a few days I have been having problems with NSC.

In the wording of massages random words are in blue and as a link.

when hovered over or clicked on they always direst to an 'adult site'

Also when scrolling down the page websites randomly open.

I think my laptop has a virus, I have run AVG it finds nothing,

I have run several Malware finders again nothing found...any suggestions?

I have looked in control panel and no tool bars have been added...

How on earth do I find out if it has a virus and what the virus is?

Only on my mobile this week.
Last post on each page is miles long as each line is made up of one letter.
Ads jumping from behind to the front, screen jumping all over the place and reducing in size to allow ad to be shown.
Impossible to view NSC without logging on and it is only NSC.

I have mentioned the last post bug in this thread. I also get some problems with the way ads are displayed and load.

I think Bozza has been doing a bit of tinkering recently as a couple of things have changed.

I cant believe its Bozza tinkering....im sure he would not link to porn sites?

The linking to porn sites is because the ads are linking to your keywords on searches. Perhaps if people stop searching for porn they won't get the ads!

Sounds like a browser hijacker to me. Use a different Internet browsersuch as Firefox or chrome or something different to what you have currently. If NSC looks normal then the other Internet browser has been infected with some malware.

"In the wording of massages random words are in blue and as a link" - does this only happen with the NSC site, or with others as well?

If only with NSC, does the same happen if you are logged in or not?

Which browser do you use?

Which anti-malware tools have you tried using?

Have you tried running the Eset online scanner (free) at https://www.eset.com/uk/home/online-scanner/ ?

Yeah sorry, you thread got a bit hijacked there. I wasn't referring to your situation. Sounds like you have something dodgy on your computer.

Have you tried system restore? Have you tried another browser? Does the problem persist?

If I thought I had a virus or some sort of malware on my computer (haven't for years actually), I would just do a system reset and start from scratch, though I appreciate this is not practical for everyone. It is the best way to keep your system clean and fast, though.
