Line is completely shut from Reading station. Nice early morning dart down to Maidenhead, free parking and on an empty non-stop train into Paddington now

Luckily got a lift to Brighton not long after saw this at Worthing. The best laid plans of mice and men, often go awry due to shortage of staff.
Just about made it through the A27 as well. Someone had crashed through the central barrier just before the Sompting roundabout. Police on the scene with both lanes closed and car looked a wreck. Luckily traffic hadn't backed up at the Eastbound Sompting through-road by the time we got there, so we made it through quick enough to make the 8:14 at Brighton.

The 848 from Shoreham to Vic went through (late) without stopping.
Having to change at Brighton now. Going to be cutting it fine.
